This rotation is because the game world runs in real time, with seasonal variations and new features constantly on the horizon. One of the most notable changes is to the fish and bugs that can be caught on the islands. Each month a few of these creatures leave and few more arrive, to fit realistic migratory patterns. So for those bug-catchers hoping to disgust Blathers with a full collection this year, here’s which bugs are leaving at the end of May.
