The bugs leaving for the month range from cheap bugs like Grasshoppers to high priced critters like Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing, and it’s worth mentioning that this is likely to occur every month or so. There will be a rotation of sorts, so if players do miss out, it’s not the end of the world. Of course, players could just time travel in Animal Crossing: New Horizons if it’s that upsetting. Note: The majority of these bugs are related to the Southern Hemisphere. It is noted on the bug when it can also be found elsewhere.

Agris Butterfly - Price: 3,000, can be found flying between 8 AM and 5 PM Atlas Moth - Price: 3,000, can be found on trees between 7 AM and 4 PM Diving Beetle - Price: 800, can be found in rivers between 8 AM and 7 PM Earth-Boring Dung Beetle - Price: 300, can be found on the ground all day. Emperor Butterfly - Price: 4,000, can be found between 5 PM and 8 AM (can be found in the Northern Hemisphere as well) Giant Water Bug - Price: 2,000, can be found on ponds and rivers between 7 PM and 8 AM Goliath Beetle - Can be found on trees between 5 PM and 8 AM Grasshopper - Price: 160, can be found in grass between 8 AM and 5 PM Great Purple Emperor - Can be found flying between 4 AM and 7 AM Madagascan Sunset Moth - Price: 2,500, can be found flying between 8 AM and 4 PM Mosquito - Price 130, can be found flying between 8 AM and 7 PM Pondskater - Price 130, can be found in rivers between 8 AM and 7 PM Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing - Price 4,000, can be found flying between 8 AM and 4 PM Rainbow Stag - Can be found on trees between 7 PM and 8 AM Raja Brooke’s Birdwing - Price 2,500, can be found above purple, black, and blue flowers between 8 AM and 5 PM Rosalia Batesi Beetle - Price 3,000, can be found on tree stumps all day Tiger Butterfly - Price: 240, can be found flying between 4 AM and 7 PM Walker Cicada - Price: 400, can be found on trees between 8 AM and 4 PM Walking Leaf - Price: 600, can be found beneath trees all day

While this bugs will need to be collected, it’s worth mentioning that one of the most profitable bug-catching ways is to start a Tarantula Island, where the spiders can be farmed for profit. Still, they’re not going anywhere, so Animal Crossing: New Horizons players should bag these bugs while they can.
